Data collected

Registration and account data includes name, email, phone number, tax number and customer type (company or consumer), plus company details where provided. Passwords are stored as hashes, not readable text.

Order requests include product configurations, quantities, prices, billing and delivery addresses, notes and request history. Contact forms collect name, email, subject and message. Session identifiers and technical access and change logs support authentication and security. The platform does not process online payments.

Purposes and legal grounds

We manage registration, account validation, configurations, quote or order requests and necessary communications to perform a contract or take steps requested before entering into one. Required service data is identified in forms; without it, account creation or processing a request may not be possible.

Platform protection, abuse prevention and operational traceability rely on our legitimate interest in securing and managing the service. Where applicable, tax, accounting and other legal requirements provide a further legal basis. Account validation is performed by the team, not through solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

Access and recipients

Data is accessible to authorised MAVELO, LDA staff and providers needed to operate the service: platform hosting and infrastructure, and email delivery through Resend. Public authorities may receive data where legally required. We do not sell personal data or use it on this platform for behavioural advertising.

Email delivery may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Resend provides a data processing agreement with international transfer mechanisms, including standard contractual clauses. You can request information about recipients and applicable safeguards at the email address on this page.

Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as needed to manage the customer relationship. Messages and requests are kept as needed to respond, follow up and resolve complaints. Order records are retained as needed to fulfil requests, handle warranties, meet legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.

Retention depends on the purpose, request status and applicable obligations. Once retention is no longer necessary, data should be deleted or anonymised. Cookie or session validity does not by itself determine the retention of other records.

Your rights and contact

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw it without affecting prior processing. Rights may be subject to limitations, including legal retention obligations.

Send requests to geral@aluminiosoldado.pt. We may ask for information needed to confirm your identity. We normally respond within one month and will notify you of any legally permitted extension. You may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

Security, cookies and updates

The platform uses role-based access, protected sessions and hashed passwords. Protect your credentials and contact the team if you suspect unauthorised access. The cookies section of this policy explains browser storage. This policy may change to reflect changes to the service or applicable rules; the update date appears on this page.

Cookies

The platform uses necessary first-party cookies for authentication and, where applicable, preserving the cart. It does not currently use audience analytics or advertising cookies.
